This year's festival theme, ‘Panta Rhei’ (Everything Flows), represents the ongoing evolution of technology and innovation.

The event serves as a platform to connect researchers with industry leaders, fostering the advancement of cutting-edge technologies such as autonomous drones, bolstering national security and decreasing import reliance.

Techkriti 2025 is poised to be a celebration of technology, entrepreneurship, and collaboration, pushing the limits of discovery and innovation.

A special segment, ‘Rakshakriti’, will feature a dedicated Defence Expo to exhibit the latest in defense technology, marking a highlight of Techkriti 2025.

Techkriti is an annual four-day intercollegiate technical and entrepreneurship festival organized by IIT-Kanpur, taking place in March. The term Techkriti is derived from ‘tech’ (technology) and the Sanskrit ‘kriti’ (creation).

Established in 1995 to foster student technological innovation, the 31st edition is currently being held from March 27-30.

The festival aspires to align the efforts, projects, and ideas of students towards a singular goal – to benefit society. To this end, the organizers have created an international platform for innovation and competition.
