Chandrababu Naidu Aims for Telugus to Achieve Global Prominence by 2047

Hyderabad, Jan 3 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, articulated his aspiration for Telugus to attain a prominent position worldwide by the year 2047.

Speaking at the Telugu Samakhya Mahasabhalu, he urged Telugus from all corners of the globe to join forces in the development of Andhra Pradesh.

Chandrababu Naidu expressed optimism about achieving a poverty-free society inspired by the founder of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), N.T. Rama Rao (NTR).

He asserted that NTR was the only leader who brought global recognition to the Telugu community.

During the formal inauguration of the conference, where he lit the lamp, the Chief Minister expressed joy in seeing Telugus unite from various parts of the world.

Reflecting on the contributions of figures like D.V.S. Raju and Indira Dutt, Chandrababu Naidu emphasized that all Telugus are united, whether they reside between Anantapur and Adilabad, or from Srikakulam to Palamur. He noted that Telugus now inhabit many countries, including America.

"As Telugus, we must honor our mother tongue with the same reverence we give to our mothers," he stated.

The TDP president noted that many living abroad show greater respect for Telugu than those residing in the homeland.

Chandrababu Naidu recalled that when he took office as chief minister of the combined state in 1996, much of Hyderabad was rocky terrain, and he envisioned its evolution into a hub for IT. He credited the TDP for its significant role in the city's development.

"When I proposed Vision-2020, people mocked me. Through 'Telugu Angels,' I laid the groundwork for a remarkable startup initiative, and I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all of you. Together, we can accomplish anything on a global scale," he remarked.

Reflecting on the contributions of prominent figures such as P.V. Narasimha Rao, M. Venkaiah Naidu, Koka Subbarao, Justice Ramana, Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy, and Balayogi, the Chief Minister noted that Tollywood has also achieved international recognition. He highlighted that cultural expressions like Kuchipudi, Bharata Natyam, and Batukamma showcase the rich heritage of the Telugu people.
