Dehradun, April 6 (NationPress) The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment is set to commence a two-day Chintan Shivir 2025 on April 7 in the city. The National Review Conference will bring together a plethora of domain experts and stakeholders nationwide to conduct a thorough evaluation of significant social justice and welfare programs.

This initiative aims to promote convergence, enhance coordination between the Centre and States, and guarantee effective and inclusive delivery of government services at the grassroots.

The primary focus of the discussions at the Chintan Shivir will revolve around the vision and mission of the Ministry, which prioritizes human dignity, rights-based support, and equal opportunities.

Talks will also delve into state-level innovations, successful community-based models, and strategies to fortify Centre-State collaboration for impactful policy execution.

Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Dr. Virendra Kumar, will chair the Conference, alongside Ministers of State Ramdas Athawale and B. L. Verma.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will also be present. Additionally, 21 Ministers from various States and Union Territories are expected to participate.

The event will see the involvement of senior officials from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, State Departments of Social Welfare, and leaders of Development and Finance Corporations.

The focus of Chintan Shivir 2025 is to promote the Ministry’s mission of fostering a just and inclusive society by addressing obstacles to social, educational, and economic empowerment. Discussions will highlight strategies to improve access to quality education for marginalized groups, encourage skill development, and create sustainable livelihoods.
