Ujjain, Oct 10 (NationPress) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced on Friday that compensation for farmers affected by natural disasters is being disbursed based on reports from district collectors.

He emphasized that individual assessments of each farm are being carried out.

Additionally, he stated that soybean farmers will benefit from the Bhavantar Scheme (Price Difference Payment Scheme), which will cover the gap from the Maximum Support Price (MSP).

Yadav affirmed that the BJP government is dedicated to fulfilling its promises to the citizens of the state.

"We (BJP government) support farmers in every situation, and those affected by disasters will receive all necessary assistance," CM Yadav declared.

This announcement was made during an event in Ujjain's Unhel town, where he laid the foundation stone and inaugurated development projects worth Rs 133.80 crore, including a 23-km-long two-lane road from Ingoria to Unhel costing Rs 127.63 crore.

"Farmers are receiving benefits from the PM Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under the Gopalan Gaushala Yojana, a subsidy of up to Rs 10 lakh will be available on a Rs 40 lakh project for maintaining 25 indigenous cows. Govardhan Puja will be celebrated with plenty of enthusiasm throughout the state," he added.

He laid the foundation stone for a new Nagar Parishad (Municipal Council) office building costing Rs 1.26 crore, and announced the construction of Chidi to Rawdiya road at Rs 2.17 crore, along with the inauguration of a power substation at Karnavad worth Rs 2.74 crore.

During the address, CM Yadav congratulated the citizens on the road development project and reaffirmed his commitment to ongoing growth in the Unhel area.

He also mentioned that the Gambhir River Project will provide additional benefits to local residents and farmers.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, significant developmental activities are underway, he stated.

On October 15, projects exceeding Rs 100 crore will commence in Orchha, he announced.

Additionally, development initiatives are ongoing in Chitrakoot, added the Chief Minister.
