Selection of Dispute-Free Villages Under 'Vrindavan Gram Yojana' by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister

Bhopal, Dec 12 (NationPress) To motivate sarpanchs (heads of panchayats) in eliminating disputes within their gram panchayats statewide, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has unveiled a reward of Rs 5 lakh. He added that villages free of disputes will be identified under the 'Vrindavan Gram Yojana' initiated by the state government.

CM Yadav urged them to monitor every incident occurring within their respective gram panchayats.

The BJP-led Madhya Pradesh government has launched the 'Vrindavan Gram Yojana' aimed at transforming chosen villages into exemplary communities, emphasizing cow conservation, rural development, and enhancing milk production.

This initiative will see the establishment of a cow shelter in each selected village.

CM Yadav made this announcement during a virtual meeting with sarpanchs from his Assembly constituency of Ujjain South on Thursday.

This session was part of the 'Jan Kalyan Parv' campaign, commemorating the first year of CM Yadav's government in Madhya Pradesh.

The Chief Minister recommended compiling a list of unemployed individuals within all gram panchayats.

He also advised them to engage with beneficiaries and address their issues promptly, according to a specified timeframe.

CM Yadav stressed the importance of maintaining updated records regarding progressive farmers, education for men and women, employment opportunities, information on meritorious children, healthcare facilities, schools, land area, and crops.

During discussions with gram panchayat heads, CM Yadav proposed organizing a mass wedding on a grand scale during the upcoming Basant Panchami.

"People should be informed that they should avoid squandering money on weddings and funerals, opting instead to invest in their children’s education," the Chief Minister remarked.

The Mohan Yadav-led BJP government, which regained power following the Assembly elections in November 2023, will mark its first anniversary in office on December 13.

In light of this, CM Yadav has initiated a 'Jan Kalyan Parv' to showcase the accomplishments of his government during its inaugural year of a five-year term.

Mohan Yadav, a three-term MLA from the Ujjain South Assembly constituency, took the oath as Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh on December 13, alongside two Deputy Chief Ministers—Rajendra Shukla and Jagdish Devda.
