Rasraj Ji Maharaj, a devotee of Lord Hanuman, recited the Shri Sundarkand on the occasion.
Delhi Minister Sardar Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Delhi BJP General Secretary and MP Yogendra Chandolia, and hundreds of party workers also paid floral tributes on behalf of the people of Delhi.

Speaking at the event, BJP President Malhotra said that Verma dedicated his entire life to ensuring that the benefits of development and public welfare schemes reached the last person of society. Malhotra described him as a mass leader who consistently prioritised the interests of villages, the poor, farmers, and ordinary citizens.
Malhotra credited Verma with making significant contributions to education, transport, healthcare, and basic infrastructure during his tenure as Chief Minister of Delhi. He said Verma's simplicity, honesty, and commitment to the organisation continue to inspire party workers.
Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh said: 'Late Shri Sahib Singh Verma Ji's life was a shining example of simplicity, integrity, and selfless public service.' He added: 'He dedicated himself to safeguarding the dignity, rights, and welfare of those standing at the very last mile of society. His values, principles, and unwavering commitment to public welfare continue to inspire and guide us in our responsibility to serve the people with honesty and dedication.'
Party Office Programme
A separate programme was organised at the Delhi BJP office in Verma's memory. BJP President Malhotra, Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh, General Secretary Vishnu Mittal, and Media Head Praveen Shankar Kapoor paid tributes to the former Chief Minister.
