New Delhi, Jan 3 (NationPress) The President of Delhi BJP, Virendra Sachdeva, expressed on Saturday that it is profoundly regrettable that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), during its 11 years of governance, hampered the progress of Delhi and engaged solely in corrupt politics, now resorts to cheap rhetoric.
Sachdeva highlighted that from February to November, AAP representatives were engrossed in misleading and derogatory political statements. Consequently, the populace of Delhi dismissed their deceptive politics, which led to the BJP winning 7 out of 12 seats in the recent by-elections for the Delhi Municipal Corporation.
It is disappointing that the AAP leaders have not gleaned any insights from this verdict and continue fabricating false narratives daily to stay relevant in the media, despite their earlier loss in the Assembly elections.
Furthermore, the Delhi BJP President pointed out that AAP’s Delhi President, Saurabh Bharadwaj, along with two MLAs, conducted a press conference where they made unfounded accusations against Delhi Government Minister Ashish Sood, which bear no resemblance to the truth.
Sachdeva urged AAP leaders to cease their creation of false narratives; otherwise, the residents of Delhi, who have already stripped them of power, will entirely reject them in the upcoming elections.
He clarified that the allegations made by AAP leaders regarding Sood's comment about individuals from smaller colonies becoming national spokespersons are wholly misleading. Sood's intentions were never to demean any colony or individual; his comments were directed at the narrow-minded and petty attitudes of AAP leaders.
“The colonies that AAP representatives label as ‘small colonies’ today boast a robust BJP organization and voter base. This very strength has enabled the BJP to dethrone AAP from power in Delhi, which is the source of AAP leaders' frustration,” he concluded.
