Will Delhi BJP Chief Lead Protest Against Congress at AI Summit?
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
New Delhi, Feb 20 (NationPress) - The President of Delhi BJP, Virendra Sachdeva, has declared a protest outside the Congress headquarters scheduled for Saturday, aiming to denounce the unruly behavior of Youth Congress members during the AI Impact Summit in Delhi.
Sachdeva stated he would spearhead the protest march from Man Singh Road roundabout to the Congress office located at 24 Akbar Road, highlighting the negative attitude of Congress and its attempts to tarnish the nation’s image.
The BJP leader emphasized that the ten individuals apprehended by police for their “shirtless” demonstration at the Summit venue on Friday were not Congress activists, but rather hired thugs.
“As the youth of India showcase their innovations at the AI Summit and honor the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, these individuals chose to disrupt the event,” Sachdeva remarked.
“If they think such actions will harm the country’s reputation, they need to rethink. These individuals claim to be Congress supporters under Rahul Gandhi, who often speaks in a manner that undermines India’s image abroad,” he added.
According to Sachdeva, the Summit has conveyed a powerful message to the world, indicating that India is positioning itself as a developed nation, with its youth consistently demonstrating their capabilities.
Regrettably, Congress’s hired thugs have again attempted to ruin India’s reputation, he asserted.
Sachdeva further mentioned that Congress leaders are rattled by India’s increasing strength. “Therefore, the same tactics that Rahul Gandhi employs abroad and in Parliament have been mirrored by Congress thugs at the AI Summit,” he stated.
On a related note, BJP MP Sambit Patra accused the Indian Youth Congress protests at the Summit of being a meticulously planned scheme conceived at Rahul Gandhi’s residence, with collaboration from sister Priyanka Gandhi.
Patra criticized the veteran party for the “topless, brainless, and shameless” disruption at the Bharat Mandapam on Friday.
Addressing a press conference at the BJP headquarters, he condemned the Congress party for shaming the nation and damaging its image, holding the party’s leadership responsible for the disgraceful act, which he claimed was orchestrated at Rahul Gandhi’s residence.
He pointed out that the topless protest by Youth Congress members at the AI Summit was intentional and not a random occurrence, as top officials of the Indian Youth Congress were involved.
