Delhi BJP Unveils Lists Highlighting Failures of 10 MLAs, Labels Them as 'Charge Sheets'

New Delhi, Dec 10 (NationPress) Addressing the concerns of local residents, the Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Delhi Assembly and convenor of BJP's 'election charge sheet committee', Vijender Gupta, on Tuesday, presented charge sheets for ten Assembly constituencies in the national capital aimed at revealing the shortcomings of local Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs.
The constituencies included in this release are Madipur, Burari, Model Town, Mundka, Kalkaji, Gokulpur, Malviya Nagar, R K Puram, Narela, and Moti Nagar.
During the event, Gupta also introduced a new slogan for the charge sheets targeting AAP's mismanagement: 'Delhi sarkar hui kangal, AAP vidhayak malamal, Sheesh Mahal me Kejriwal'.
The LoP declared that the BJP has conducted extensive surveys across all 70 constituencies in Delhi, engaging with residents to understand local issues and gather opinions on their respective MLAs.
He mentioned that charge sheets are being prepared for all 70 constituencies and will be made available to the public one by one.
Tuesday's release marks the unveiling of the charge sheets for 10 constituencies.
BJP leaders present at the event included Ramesh Bidhuri, R.P. Singh, Kapil Mishra, Raja Iqbal Singh, Richa Pandey Mishra, Aarti Mehra, Gulshan Virmani, and Sunita Kangra.
While announcing the charge sheets, Gupta launched a sharp critique of AAP, asserting that the party is failing to address public issues.
He claimed that AAP leaders, who are grappling with numerous corruption accusations, have become so panicked that they distrust their own MLAs.
Gupta accused AAP of neglecting current MLAs and nominating new candidates in their stead.
Of the 62 seats held by AAP, he noted that candidates have been declared for 31 so far.
He alleged that AAP's current MLAs are ineffective, have distanced themselves from their constituents, and are now viewed as failures by their own party.
Gupta criticized the AAP government's so-called 'education revolution' led by former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
He alleged that Sisodia had to change his constituency to evade accountability for his failures.
Labeling Sisodia an 'absconder', Gupta asserted that he neglected his duties in Patparganj and chose to run from Jungpura instead.
The LoP claimed that under Sisodia's leadership, Delhi's education system faced severe setbacks, evidenced by three lakh students failing in Class 9 and 11, the closure of 29 Pratibha schools, and a decrease in the overall number of schools.
Rather than focusing on education, Sisodia prioritized a controversial liquor policy, which led to corruption amounting to crores of rupees, ultimately resulting in his year-long imprisonment.
