New Delhi, Nov 18 (NationPress) The National Investigation Agency (NIA) presented Jasir Bilal Wani, also known as Danish, an aide to bomber Dr Umar Muhammad, in the Patiala House Court regarding the Delhi blast that resulted in the deaths of 13 individuals.

On the preceding day, the NIA apprehended another significant associate who purportedly rendered technical assistance to the terrorists implicated in the explosion.

The agency detained Wani, a Kashmiri native, in Srinagar.

As per the NIA, investigations have indicated that Wani allegedly contributed technical expertise to facilitate terror operations.

He was engaged in enhancing drones and making attempts to create rockets prior to the catastrophic car bomb explosion that claimed 13 lives and injured 32 others.

The accused, hailing from Qazigund in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, was reportedly an active collaborator in the attack, closely working with terrorist Dr Umar Muhammad Nabi to orchestrate the act of terror.

The NIA is tirelessly pursuing various dimensions of the case to unravel the complete conspiracy behind the bombing, with multiple teams from the agency investigating leads and conducting searches across several states to identify all individuals involved.

Earlier on Monday, a court in Delhi remanded Aamir Rashid Ali, a Kashmiri resident accused of conspiring with Muhammad, to 10 days of custody under the NIA.

On November 16, the NIA arrested Ali, the individual in whose name the vehicle used in the blast was registered. He was taken into custody in Delhi during a comprehensive search operation initiated after the agency assumed control of the case from the Delhi Police, as stated by an official.

According to the findings of the NIA, Ali, residing in Samboora, Pampore, Jammu and Kashmir, allegedly plotted with the suicide bomber Umar Nabi to execute the terror attack.

The agency further noted that Ali traveled to Delhi to assist in the acquisition of the vehicle that was subsequently employed as a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (IED) to perpetrate the explosion.
