Alongside her, six newly appointed ministers will take their oaths today. After the swearing-in ceremony, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and her cabinet will head to Yamuna Ghat to evaluate the river's cleanliness.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which held power in Delhi for the last decade, had consistently pledged to cleanse the Yamuna but failed to fulfill this promise. The new BJP government is now prioritizing the cleanliness of the river.
