New Delhi, Feb 3 (NationPress) Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, campaigning for the BJP in Delhi ahead of the February 5 Assembly election, criticized the AAP and the Congress for failing to keep their commitments to the electorate.
As part of his busy schedule on the final day of campaigning, CM Dhami conducted roadshows in Sangam Vihar and Patel Nagar supporting BJP candidates Chandan Kumar Choudhary and Raaj Kumar Anand, respectively. He also promoted party candidate Dushyant Kumar Gautam in Karol Bagh.
“The AAP has only shown development on paper, while the Congress has engaged in polarization and communal issues,” stated the Uttarakhand CM in a post on social media platform X after the south Delhi roadshow.
CM Dhami expressed that Delhi voters feel deceived by both parties and are eager for change by electing the BJP. “On February 5, voters will support the BJP to ensure that every promise made by the party is realized,” he mentioned.
Earlier, during an election rally on Sunday, CM Dhami remarked, "Since assuming power, we have made every effort to uphold the cultural traditions of Devbhoomi. We enacted an anti-conversion law to prevent religious conversions in Uttarakhand... We have also taken measures to combat Love Jihad..."
He further criticized rival parties for raising concerns regarding human rights for Bangladeshis and Rohingyas while remaining silent about the atrocities faced by Hindus in Bangladesh.
He emphasized the advantages of a double-engine government in a state and showcased the progress made by such governance in BJP-led Uttarakhand and Haryana.
While seeking votes for BJP's R.K. Puram candidate Anil Sharma, Uttarakhand CM criticized the AAP and Congress for their anti-national actions.
"Arvind Kejriwal has become synonymous with corruption. The AAP has surpassed the Congress in terms of corrupt governance," he commented.
On Monday, CM Dhami also shared a post on social media commending the budget allocation for expanding the railway network in Uttarakhand.
He remarked that the funds allocated for railway expansion in the state surpassed the total amount provided between 2009 and 2014 during the UPA administration.
