The narcotics seized are categorized as “commercial quantity” under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

As per police reports, the arrests occurred on December 21 following a reliable tip-off regarding the activity of drug traffickers in the Narela locality.

A specialized raiding team was swiftly assembled, led by Inspector Gaurav Choudhary, head of the Anti-Narcotics Cell, and under the oversight of ACP Dinesh Kumar.

The operation proceeded under the supervision of DCP Outer North District Hareshwar Swami, IPS, and the overall direction of Joint Commissioner of Police, Northern Range, Vijay Singh, IPS.

“Upon searching their vehicle (Shine Motorcycle bearing no. DL 5S CX 4), we recovered 304 grams of high-quality heroin (Commercial quantity),” police stated in their press release.
