New Delhi, April 14 (NationPress) President Droupadi Murmu, Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla were among the key dignitaries who offered floral tributes at the statue of Babasaheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar located at Prerna Sthal within the Parliament House Complex on his 135th birth anniversary.
During this commemorative event, several notable figures including Union Ministers, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha Harivansh, along with members and former members of Parliament, also paid their respects at Babasaheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar's portrait in the Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan.
The Secretaries-General of both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, Utpal Kumar Singh and P.C. Mody, respectively, also paid their floral tributes in the Central Hall.
