Easily Accessible Explosives in Bengal: Suvendu Adhikari Comments on Murshidabad Explosion

Kolkata, Dec 9 (NationPress) West Bengal's Opposition Leader (LoP) Suvendu Adhikari has sharply criticized the state government led by Mamata Banerjee following the explosion in Murshidabad that claimed the lives of three individuals.
“On Monday, the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee addressed the assembly but failed to say a single word regarding the Murshidabad blast that resulted in the death of three members from a community that forms a loyal support base for the Trinamool Congress,” stated Adhikari during a media interaction on the sidelines of the ongoing winter session of the Assembly.
He further expressed concern that while such incidents occur frequently, the state government tends to dismiss them as mere accidents at a 'firecracker' manufacturing facility while boasting about creating a green cracker manufacturing zone.
“The truth is that it is deeply concerning how explosive materials, including gunpowder and various explosive agents, are transported without restriction throughout West Bengal, a border state that, regrettably, shares its border with Bangladesh, where extremist factions are inciting anti-India sentiments and laying the groundwork for actions detrimental to our nation's interests,” Adhikari remarked.
He also accused the Chief Minister of “trying” to minimize the violence against Hindu minorities in neighboring Bangladesh by suggesting that rumors about the Bangladesh crisis are being perpetuated through the distribution of false videos.
“Is she implying that all reports emerging from Bangladesh concerning the current situation are entirely inaccurate?” he questioned.
Adhikari warned that Dassault Rafale jets are stationed at the Hasimara air base in West Bengal, asserting that if even one jet were to fly to Bangladesh, it would signify the end game for Bangladesh.
“Bangladesh has a history of violence against Hindu monks, as evidenced once again by the arrest of ISKCON monk Chinmoy Krishna Das. However, I have learned that he will not yield in the face of any assault or imprisonment,” concluded Adhikari.
