Patna, May 17 (NationPress) As part of his ongoing four-day tour of Bihar, Election Commissioner Dr. Vivek Joshi arrived in Motihari, the administrative center of East Champaran, on Saturday to assess the preparations for the 2025 Bihar Legislative Assembly elections.
During his visit, Dr. Joshi thoroughly inspected the EVMs and VVPAT machines housed in the district's storage facility.
He was joined by District Magistrate Saurav Jorwal, Superintendent of Police Swarn Prabhat, and other senior officials, and he took the time to engage with representatives from various political factions present at the site.
“The elections will be conducted in a manner that is both peaceful and transparent. We have issued strict directives to officials to ensure no lapses occur,” Dr. Joshi stated during a press briefing following his inspection.
