Jharsuguda, Sep 27 (NationPress) Residents of Odisha's Jharsuguda expressed their enthusiasm and pride as Prime Minister Narendra Modi gears up to arrive in the city to launch development projects worth Rs 60,000 crore.
The city has made extensive preparations, featuring a lively roadshow along a two-kilometer route from the airport to the public meeting area, where traditional dance and musical performances will grace both sides of the path.
BJP MLA and actor-turned-politician Sidhant Mohapatra stated that it is a source of immense pride for Odisha that Prime Minister Modi is visiting.
In an interview with IANS, Mohapatra remarked, "He will engage with the youth and present numerous initiatives not only for Odisha but for the entire nation. The people of the state are thrilled and eagerly anticipate hearing from him. PM Modi consistently brings a vision and tangible plans—he never departs without leaving something significant behind."
Referring to PM Modi as the "greatest inspiration for the youth," the BJP MLA added, "Young individuals should learn from him the importance of valuing and utilizing time effectively. We are all eager to see what new announcements he will make for Odisha this time."
Minister Nityananda Gond also expressed appreciation to the Prime Minister for initiating development projects aimed at the state's advancement.
In his remarks to IANS, Gond stated, "Today marks a proud moment for Odisha as Prime Minister Modi visits Jharsuguda. Wherever he goes, he ignites excitement among the populace. We, the people of Odisha, are profoundly grateful to him since he consistently offers something substantial for the state."

The fervor among attendees is palpable. One participant, Sadanand Naik, even donned attire resembling Prime Minister Modi for the public gathering.
"In the past, I never dressed like this. Once, when I visited Haridwar, a sadhu remarked that I resembled PM Modi and advised me to let my beard grow instead of shaving. Ever since, I’ve maintained this look," he shared.
All arrangements for the Yuva Samabesh at Amalipali Ground have been finalized, with students and youths from various districts arriving in droves.
"I’m thrilled to witness PM Modi in person and hear his message for the youth," an attendee mentioned to IANS.
Security measures have been tightened throughout Jharsuguda for this high-profile visit. The Special Protection Group (SPG) has taken command of the meeting venue, ensuring that every individual entering undergoes thorough screening.
Additional security personnel have been deployed at the airport, with barricades set up along the roadshow route. Vehicles heading toward the venue are also being inspected, with access limited to those possessing SPG-authorized passes.
