Context: The key interchange at Versova

The Package-A site at Versova is where the project's first major interchange is to be constructed. This interchange is described as critical for traffic moving towards Madh Island, a relatively isolated coastal locality in the western suburbs.

The interchange will also provide faster and more seamless connectivity to residents of Lokhandwala and Andheri West. Existing local roads in the area are to be integrated with the interchange through a combination of small bridges and road merges, creating a more efficient traffic network.
