Family of Bengaluru Tech Professional Atul Subhash Seeks Justice

Patna, Dec 12 (NationPress) The family of AI engineer Atul Subhash, who reportedly took his life under unclear circumstances in Bengaluru, returned to Patna on Wednesday evening with his ashes, making a heartfelt plea for justice.

Atul's mother collapsed while talking to the press at the Patna airport.

"My son was mentally harassed and tormented. I demand justice for him," she expressed, calling for a comprehensive investigation into the events leading up to her son's death.

Atul's brother, Vikas Kumar, pointed out a significant detail from a suicide note left by Atul, which stated, "Justice was not delivered to me."

Frustrated, Vikas commented, "My brother elaborated on how men are facing harassment under the pretext of women's law. He accused a 'judge,' who is supposed to uphold justice, of allegedly asking for a bribe of Rs 5 lakh. In his note, he even mentioned that if justice remains unserved, his ashes should be discarded in the gutter outside the court."

The family’s remarks have heightened demands for accountability and fairness in the handling of Atul's situation, urging authorities to reveal the truth behind his alleged suicide and take necessary actions against any misconduct.

Atul Subhash's case has entered the legal arena, with the Marathahalli Police in Bangalore filing an FIR based on a complaint lodged by his brother, Vikas Kumar. The FIR accuses four individuals, including Atul's wife, under Section 108 and Section 3(5) of the BNS. Atul's mother-in-law, brother-in-law, and his wife's uncle are also implicated in the case. The Marathahalli Police are actively probing the allegations.

Atul's cousin, Bajrang Prasad Agarwal, provided insight into his family background, stating, "Atul was my uncle's son. His residence is located on Pusa Road Main Bazaar, Samastipur. He completed his education here before working in Bangalore. We were aware he was being tormented by his in-laws, but we had no idea the situation had deteriorated to such an extent that he would resort to such drastic measures."

He added that Atul had spoken with his parents on the day of the incident. Atul had been married since 2019, but the family believes the strained relationship with his in-laws contributed to his emotional turmoil.

This case has sparked calls for a thorough investigation to ensure that justice is achieved.
