New Delhi, 3 Jan (NationPress) The second day of the Delhi Shabdostav 2026, taking place at the Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, featured an extensive dialogue, including a segment focused on the history of Hinduism.
Numerous authors and historians expressed their insights on Indian literature and culture.
Ami Ganatra, a distinguished management expert and writer, articulated her perspective on the idea of ‘Ram Rajya’ and what it signifies for society.
“If society aims to establish Ram Rajya, individuals must begin to emulate the virtues of Lord Ram,” she stated.
Ganatra also criticized those who dismiss Lord Ram as a mere fictional character, asserting that his life continues to guide humanity today.
“To us, Lord Ram is a historical figure. He has consistently upheld and reinforced societal values,” she noted.
“Questions regarding Lord Ram’s existence have rarely arisen before our nation’s independence. When they did surface, it was often for political gain. Even the courts required evidence of his existence, reflecting the remarkable tolerance of the Hindu community,” she elaborated.
During the discussion, Anil Gupta, the RSS Delhi general secretary, acknowledged that comprehending religion and culture was once challenging, but it has now become more accessible.
“Today’s Gen-Z finds it easier to understand. The youth are now actively engaging in religious activities. In the past, bhajan singers were typically in their 40s or 50s, while now many are between 20 and 25 years old,” he added.
Gupta further expressed that the current generation is significantly recognizing the value of bhajan and religion.
