Punjab blasts row: BJP's Sachdeva slams AAP's Sanjay Singh over BJP link claim
Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Virendra Sachdeva on Thursday, 7 May sharply condemned Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh for linking the BJP's Mission Punjab campaign with the recent bomb blasts in the state, calling the allegation a product of AAP's deepening political frustration. Sachdeva's remarks came a day after two explosions rocked Amritsar and Jalandhar, incidents that Punjab Police have attributed to the involvement of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
Sachdeva's Charge Against AAP
Sachdeva argued that AAP's political standing has been in steady decline across multiple states. He pointed out that in Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, every party that Arvind Kejriwal backed was pushed to the margins. More recently, according to Sachdeva, the AAP itself was wiped out in the Gujarat municipal elections, leaving the Kejriwal-led party, in his words,
