Ahmedabad, Jan 20 (NationPress) The Chairman of the Adani Group, Gautam Adani, addressed students on Monday, expressing that India is now vibrant with opportunities and that “you are India’s global ambassadors in the making”.
Speaking at an event held at the Adani International School, he remarked that the students are the wings that will elevate India.
“You belong to a generation imbued with more potential than any that has preceded it. You will both project India to the world and bring the world to our shores. And, my young friends, in this evolving India, education is your strongest foundation for distinction,” highlighted the Chairman.
Reflecting on his own educational journey, he shared, “When I embarked on my path, I lacked a roadmap, resources, and connections.”
“All I possessed was a dream — a dream to construct something meaningful, something that could enrich my own self-esteem. I envisioned this daily. Looking back now, I can affirm that dreams are not exclusive to the affluent. They reward those who dare to dream and labor relentlessly,” Gautam Adani conveyed to the students.
While the Adani Group stands as India’s fastest-growing conglomerate, setting benchmarks for new ventures like no other, he stressed, “our mission transcends mere business creation”.
“Every choice we made, every risk we undertook, was fueled by a singular aim: how can we produce something that benefits the greater good? It has been about having the audacity to chase our dreams and the resilience to soar higher and quicker than anyone else. It’s about creating a standard to measure ourselves against, not against others,” Gautam Adani asserted.
He encouraged parents to instill qualities such as resilience, empathy, and a spirit of service in their children.
