People particularly highlighted maritime projects such as ports, cruise terminals, and coastal security, believing that landmark efforts like the Dholera and Lothal projects will greatly enhance Gujarat’s identity and pride.
In sectors like healthcare, energy, and infrastructure, residents noted significant enhancements in their everyday lives. One individual commented, “The Prime Minister’s address inspires hope for the country’s security and advancement.”

Earlier in the day, during the 'Samudra se Samriddhi' programme, PM Modi inaugurated and laid the groundwork for several development projects worth over Rs 34,200 crore, emphasizing the significance of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' (self-reliant India).
A major highlight of the event was the maritime sector, where PM Modi initiated and launched projects exceeding Rs 7,870 crore. These projects include crucial infrastructure enhancements across key Indian ports.
While addressing the large audience at Jawahar Maidan in Bhavnagar, PM Modi stated, "This event is taking place in Bhavnagar, but it is for the entire nation. Today, we are determining India’s direction from 'Samudra' (ocean) to 'Samridhhi' (prosperity), with Bhavnagar as the focal point. I congratulate the people of Gujarat and Bhavnagar for this."
The Prime Minister also expressed his gratitude for the birthday wishes, saying that the “love and blessings I have received from all corners of India and the world are my greatest treasure and strength.”
Numerous children created paintings and sketches for the Prime Minister. In response, he thanked them for their affection and instructed officials to gather the artwork.
Commending the 'Sewa Pakhwada' events, PM Modi stated, "From Vishwakarma Jayanti to Gandhi Jayanti, that is, from September 17 to October 2, millions across the country are participating in 'Sewa Pakhwada'. I have been informed that in Gujarat, a 15-day 'Sewa Pakhwada' is currently in progress. Many activities have occurred over the past few days."
"Blood donation camps have been organized in several locations, with over 1 lakh people donating blood so far. This data is just from Gujarat. Thousands also participated in cleanliness drives organized nationwide," he mentioned.
"Health camps are also being organized throughout the country, particularly focusing on women. I thank everyone involved in these acts of service," he concluded.
