Haryana Achieves Top Position on PRAGATI Dashboard 29 Times in 39 Months

Chandigarh, Dec 30 (NationPress) Haryana has consistently led the PRAGATI Dashboard by achieving the top position 29 times in the last 39 months.

This information was disclosed during a meeting led by Chief Secretary Vivek Joshi at the 29th gathering of the State Apex Committee for Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) held here on Monday.

The dashboard is overseen by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) for all states and Union Territories.

Additionally, Haryana Police has achieved a flawless score of 10/10 on the RTS dashboard for citizen services offered through the HarSamay portal.

As of December 26, Haryana Police has processed over 64,57,071 applications, adhering to the stipulated timelines. This exemplary performance positions Haryana Police as the leader among all state departments, holding the record for the most applications processed via the SARAL portal, as stated in an official announcement.

During the meeting, it was revealed that the e-Summon feature has been effectively launched in Sirsa district, which was chosen for this pilot initiative. The Chief Secretary was apprised that the e-Summon portal is set to become operational by January 31, 2025, across the state.

Furthermore, it was noted that a system for sending alerts from e-Prisons to relevant officials regarding the release of wanted individuals and repeat offenders has been established.

Significant progress was also discussed during the meeting concerning the rollout of various technological advancements.

There has been a remarkable increase in the number of e-Sakshya users, which rose from 14,872 users on August 30 to 17,655 users by December 27.

In keeping with its commitment to enhancing operational efficiency, the State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB) has developed a CCTNS Mobile App for iOS. This app will soon be launched to improve the mobility and accessibility of CCTNS services for officers in the field.
