Chandigarh, Feb 13 (NationPress) Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini stated on Friday that the allegations put forth by a legislator from the Aam Aadmi Party of Punjab are entirely baseless and fabricated.

“AAP is making these claims to conceal their own shortcomings,” he asserted.

He accused AAP of initially presenting false hopes to the residents of Delhi and then failing to deliver on promises made in Punjab, leading to widespread discontent.

In remarks to the media in Delhi, the Chief Minister noted that the citizens of Punjab first supported the Congress, only to be let down. They subsequently placed their trust in AAP, which he labeled as a “grand deception.”

Saini claimed that the situation regarding law and order in Punjab is dire and that farmers are enduring significant challenges.

On the topic of flood compensation, he mentioned that while Arvind Kejriwal, the AAP leader, promised Rs 20,000 to farmers in Punjab, he also claimed that Rs 50,000 had been provided to farmers in Gujarat.

CM Saini described this as misleading farmers and emphasized that the allegations made by the MLA are factually incorrect and designed to obscure AAP's failures.

He accused AAP of engaging in pressure tactics in Punjab and urged the party to honor its commitments to the public.

Addressing a question about Punjab, CM Saini remarked, “Punjab is like home. I always visit when invited.”

He added, “Punjab is the land of the Gurus, and it is an honor that the Gurus also graced Haryana with their presence.”

These comments from the Chief Minister followed accusations from Punjab AAP legislator Narinder Kaur Bharaj, who claimed that the BJP is attempting to entice her with a party ticket and promises under the so-called 'Operation Lotus'.

She alleged that the Haryana Chief Minister had invited her to a private meeting.

“The BJP is executing 'Operation Lotus' nationwide to destabilize elected governments. Recently, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini reached out to me with offers of a BJP ticket from Sangrur, promising to fulfill all my demands and even suggested a private meeting,” Bharaj stated in a media briefing.
