Following this significant initiative, the government will proceed with selecting an additional 1 lakh beneficiaries.
Beginning August 15, government hospitals across 10 districts will be upgraded with modern amenities and equipment, mirroring private hospitals. This initiative seeks to deliver high-quality healthcare services at reasonable prices.
The Chief Minister made these remarks during a program in the villages of Dagali, Deeg, Beed Kalwa, and Dhanani within the Ladwa Assembly constituency.
He was greeted warmly by residents in each village, and during his visit, he attentively listened to public grievances, instructing officials to resolve them promptly on-site.
He allocated Rs 55.41 lakh for a clean drinking water pipeline in Dagali village, Rs 52.64 lakh for Beed Kalwa village, and Rs 27.15 lakh for Dhanani village.
In Deeg village, he laid the foundation stone for a Primary Health Centre that will cost over Rs 6.38 crore.
Moreover, the Chief Minister announced Rs 21 lakh for development works in each of the four villages and assured that all demand letters submitted by the respective village heads would be sent to the relevant departments for action.
CM Saini highlighted that farmers in Kurukshetra district cultivate sunflowers extensively. In response, the government has opted to establish a sunflower oil mill in Shahbad town.
Additionally, land has been earmarked in Rewari town for a mustard oil mill. These two facilities will assist in ensuring that farmers receive fair prices for their sunflower and mustard harvests.
He further asserted that Haryana is the first state in India to procure all crops at the minimum support price (MSP).
Furthermore, under the Bhavantar Bharpai Yojana, farmers are reimbursed when they receive lower market prices for vegetables and other crops.
The Chief Minister noted that families earning less than Rs 1.80 lakh annually are receiving liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders at a subsidized price of Rs 500. Approximately 18 lakh families across the state are currently benefiting from this initiative.
In a similar vein, the Ayushman Bharat Yojana provides free medical treatment up to Rs 5 lakh for eligible citizens. For senior citizens above 70 years, the coverage has been extended to Rs 10 lakh. The government has allocated Rs 6 crore for this program. Additionally, the Chief Minister stated that kidney patients are now eligible for free dialysis services in government hospitals.
