Haryana CM Highlights Rapid Development in Ladwa

Chandigarh, February 28 (NationPress) Haryana's Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced on Saturday that the pace of development initiatives in the Ladwa Assembly constituency is impressive.
A series of projects worth several crores are currently in progress across both urban and rural segments of the area. Upon completion, these initiatives will significantly enhance facilities and services for the local populace.
During his visit, the Chief Minister inaugurated the beautification project at Saraswati Chowk in Babain, located in the Kurukshetra district.
He took the time to listen to the concerns of local residents and directed officials to address these issues.
CM Saini also mentioned the construction of a Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Memorial spanning nearly five acres in Umri, Kurukshetra.
In addition, work is ongoing to pave the Rakshi river, and road construction is actively taking place within Ladwa city.
Moreover, a government veterinary polyclinic has been established in Biholi, while a sports stadium has been developed for athletes in Dhanora Jatan village.
The beautification of Aggarsain Chowk at Ramkundi in Ladwa has also been finalized.
The Chief Minister remarked that under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana’, a total of Rs 15,448 crore has been disbursed to farmers as claims to date.
To mitigate crop losses, Rs 116,15,57,000 has been allocated to 53,821 farmers, which includes Rs 35,29,00,000 for bajra, Rs 27,43,000 for cotton, Rs 22,91,00,000 for paddy, and Rs 14,10,00,000 for guar crops.
He emphasized that the welfare of farmers remains a core focus of government policies.
"In the 2024 Sankalp Patra, the government pledged to procure all 24 crops at the minimum support price (MSP). Following the formal establishment of the government on October 17, 2024, a notification was issued on December 19 to guarantee the procurement of these 24 crops at the MSP," stated CM Saini.
Today, Haryana stands as the only state in India where all 24 crops are being procured at MSP.
Over the last 12 seasons, a total of Rs 1,64,000 crore has been directly credited to the bank accounts of 12 lakh farmers for crop procurement.
