New Delhi, Nov 15 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday paid tribute to the esteemed tribal leader Birsa Munda during his 150th birth anniversary, a day also recognized as Tribal Pride Day nationwide. In a message shared on X, PM Modi stated, "On this significant day of Tribal Pride, the entire nation is respectfully commemorating the unmatched contributions of the illustrious freedom fighter, Bhagwan Birsa Munda Ji, towards safeguarding the honor of our motherland."
He further expressed, "His struggle and sacrifices against the injustices of colonial rule will keep inspiring generations to come. A hundredfold salutations to the great freedom fighter, Bhagwan Birsa Munda Ji, on his 150th birthday."
