New Delhi, Nov 22 (NationPress) In a powerful statement, the chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Mohan Bhagwat, declared that Hindu society is essential for the world's survival, asserting that “without Hindus, the world will cease to exist.” In response, BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain echoed these sentiments on Saturday, affirming that Bhagwat's remarks are indeed accurate and any efforts to undermine them are destined to fail.
While addressing an audience during his visit to Manipur, Bhagwat emphasized the timelessness of Hindu society, recalling that India has endured empires such as those from Yunaan (Greece), Misr (Egypt), and Rome.
In an interview with IANS, Hussain stated, “What he said is true. In Sanatan Dharma, we follow the principle of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,’ which translates to the whole world being one family. Hindus prioritize the welfare of all. Any attempt to erode this belief will ultimately fail. The contributions of the Hindu community are significant across various domains.”
Hussain also addressed the announcement by Trinamool Congress MLA Humayun Kabir regarding the foundation stone for a new Babri Masjid in Murshidabad on December 6. This date coincides with the anniversary of the mosque's demolition in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
He remarked, “Mamata Banerjee realizes her electoral losses are imminent. Hence, she seeks to polarize sentiments, projecting herself as a defender of Muslims.”
“On December 6, her and her party’s proposal to construct a Babri Masjid, named after Babur, an invader, raises questions. Why should it carry his name? Mamata Banerjee should halt such initiatives, and these efforts must be thwarted,” he conveyed to IANS.
Additionally, he commented on the recent political shift in Bihar, where Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has passed the Home Ministry to his deputy, BJP leader Samrat Choudhary, under the new cabinet structure.
“This marks the first instance post-Independence where a BJP leader will oversee the Home Ministry in Bihar. The state is now experiencing effective governance. Nitish Kumar has put an end to ‘Jungle Raj’ in Bihar and has established stability. We will ensure that criminals feel apprehensive and avoid unlawful acts,” he concluded.
