Hyderabad, Feb 19 (NationPress) A lawyer representing the Secunderabad City Civil & Criminal Court collapsed and passed away on Wednesday, marking the second such incident within the city in a span of just two days.

B. Venkata Ramana fell unconscious at the Indian Bank's Marredpally Branch. He reportedly suffered from serious head injuries and died instantly.

The 58-year-old lawyer was at the bank to settle a challan when he unexpectedly collapsed and tragically succumbed. There are suspicions that he may have experienced a cardiac arrest.

This incident follows closely on the heels of another occurrence in the city. On Tuesday, lawyer Pasnooru Venugopal Rao experienced a heart attack while presenting a case in front of the Telangana High Court, ultimately passing away at the age of 66.

While addressing Justice Laxmi Narayana Alishetty, Rao began to feel unwell and subsequently collapsed. He had been a practicing lawyer at the High Court since 1998.

Despite the efforts of fellow advocates who administered Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and rushed him to Osmania Hospital, medical personnel declared him dead upon arrival.

A. Ravinder Reddy, President of the Telangana High Court Bar Association, stated that some lawyers present in the courtroom attempted CPR, but unfortunately, it was ineffective.

The alarming deaths of two lawyers within two days have sent shock waves through the legal community in Hyderabad.

These sudden fatalities have raised concerns among the public, who believe that stress and work pressure may be contributing factors to these incidents.

A similar situation occurred last August when a Congress leader in Karnataka passed away under comparable circumstances. Ravi Chandran suffered a fatal heart attack while addressing the media at the Press Club of Bengaluru.

The 63-year-old had organized the press conference to express his support for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah regarding the MUDA scandal.

What is particularly alarming is that many young individuals are also becoming victims of sudden cardiac arrests.

In recent months, numerous young people have succumbed to unexpected heart attacks while engaging in activities such as working out at the gym, playing sports, or even during their daily routines.
