New Delhi, March 17 (NationPress) A Roza Iftar event was hosted by the Delhi BJP Minority Morcha at the India Islamic Cultural Centre in the capital, featuring a range of esteemed guests and party officials, as stated by the party.

Among those present were Union Minister for Minority Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju, BJP's National President of Minority Morcha Jamal Siddiqui, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Delhi Minister Ashish Sood, Uttar Pradesh Minister Danish Azad, International Kho-Kho player Nasreen Sheikh, Delhi BJP General Secretary Vishnu Mittal, former Union Ministers Shahnawaz Hussain and Harsh Vardhan, former BJP Vice-President of National Minority Commission Atif Rashid, and Incharge of BJP's Delhi Minority Morcha Qari Mohammad Haroon. They joined the local Muslim community in breaking their fasts and extended 'Ramazan Mubarak' wishes.

The holy month of Ramzan holds deep significance for the Muslim community, and during this time, Roza Iftar gatherings are frequently organized to foster unity among diverse groups.

Officials from the Delhi BJP Minority Morcha, including Irfan Salmani, Nasir Raza, Imtiaz Ahmed, Zulfiqar, Aas Mohammad Malik, Iqrar Qureshi, Mustafa Siddiqui, and numerous other BJP workers, attended the event.

Anees Abbasi, President of the Delhi BJP Minority Morcha, remarked that the holy month of Ramzan is a period of devotion where Muslims fast and pray for the country's unity and prosperity.

He stated: "With this spirit in mind, the Delhi BJP organized this Roza Iftar event on Sunday, enabling all of us to collectively pray for a thriving Delhi and work towards fulfilling the Prime Minister's vision."

Additionally, the BJP Minority Morcha launched the 'Saughat-e-Modi' initiative aimed at assisting 3.2 million individuals in need during Eid. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, this campaign will distribute essential supplies through 'Saughat-e-Modi' kits.

Jamal Siddiqui, National President of BJP Minority Morcha, unveiled the campaign during a virtual meeting involving national and state-level officials.
