New Delhi, Dec 31 (NationPress) Embodying the spirit of a determined India poised for progress, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday extended a Happy New Year to citizens through a post on X, where he reflected on the significant advancements and transformations accomplished in 2024.
Describing it as a “lyrical celebration”, PM Modi expressed in his post in Hinglish, “Mera Bharat Badh raha (My India is making great strides of progress).”
“From space to soil, railways to runways, culture to innovation, #IndiaIn2024 marked a year of significant progress & transformation!” PM Modi conveyed in an emotional message.
“A lyrical celebration as we confidently step into 2025,” stated the Prime Minister while guiding the nation towards 2025.
The PM’s New Year greeting also featured a 2.41-minute animated video showcasing the accomplishments made during a remarkable 2024. The milestones highlighted in the video included the country’s space launches, advancements in super-computing, a surge in defense manufacturing, growth in the aviation sector, and infrastructure wonders such as the underwater Howrah Maidan Metro, Rameswaram rail bridge, and Vande Bharat rail.
The video also emphasized the increase in medical colleges and enhanced health facilities for the public, the Atal Pension scheme, PM Awas, the inaugural temple in Abu Dhabi, and the introduction of three new criminal laws.
In a virtual evaluation of the government’s performance in 2024, the animation clip provided crucial details about the economy.
Alongside spotlighting the $700 billion foreign reserves, it showcased the country’s rise as the third largest force in Asia and the uplifting of 24.82 crore individuals from poverty.
In terms of job creation, the video underscored the Rs 2 lakh crore package benefiting 4.1 crore youth.
In the realm of sports, PM Modi’s video on 2024 celebrated the historic achievement of India winning 29 medals at the Para-Olympics.
The PM’s video conveyed a message for the environment with “Ek ped Maa ke Naam,” leading to the planting of 102 crore saplings and highlighting the boost in India’s green power generation capacity.
Known for celebrating his birthday on September 17 with military personnel, PM Modi also enjoys wishing the nation a prosperous New Year, hoping it will usher in prosperity, peace, and health for everyone.
