In a post on X, Nadda, who also serves as the BJP President, stated: "A Record-Breaking Milestone for Women’s Health! India achieves three GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS titles under the nationwide #SwasthNariSashaktParivarAbhiyaan, reaffirming our commitment to preventive and women-centric healthcare."
He elaborated that the campaign, conducted from 17th Sept to 2nd Oct 2025 in alignment with Poshan Maah, aimed at enhancing health and nutrition for women, adolescent girls, and children, while ensuring early detection and access to essential healthcare services, ultimately empowering families for a healthier Bharat. More than 19.7 lakh health camps were established during this initiative, attracting over 11 crore participants across various districts.
The Health Minister expressed that this accomplishment signifies a proud step towards a Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar & Viksit Bharat.
"Inspired by the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji and the spirit of Seva and Bharat First, this achievement marks a proud stride towards a Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar & Viksit Bharat," he remarked.
The Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan is a groundbreaking initiative from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, in partnership with the Ministry of Women and Child Development, aimed at bolstering healthcare services for women and children, with an emphasis on accessibility, quality, and awareness. Envisioned as a Jan Bhagidaari Abhiyaan, it integrates government entities, private hospitals, and health professionals, creating an inclusive healthcare delivery model reaching every part of the nation.
This campaign aligns with India's broader developmental objectives, utilizing platforms like Anganwadis to extend its outreach and maintain maternal and child health initiatives. It complements flagship programs such as Mission Shakti, focused on women’s safety and empowerment, and Poshan 2.0, aimed at combating malnutrition among women and children.
The Abhiyaan placed a strong emphasis on women’s health through thorough screenings and customized medical services. Health camps offered examinations for various health issues, including dermatological conditions, hypertension, anaemia, reproductive health concerns, breast and cervical cancer, diabetes, tuberculosis (TB), and sickle cell disease (SCD). Specialized counseling sessions were organized in tribal areas to guarantee equitable healthcare accessibility.
These services, backed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, were designed to tackle gaps identified in national health surveys, ensuring early detection and treatment to enhance women’s health across both urban and rural settings.
