A masked individual trespassed into Aruna's home on Road No. 56, Jubilee Hills at approximately 4 a.m. on Sunday. The police reported that the intruder spent over one and a half hours inside the dwelling.
At the time of the incident, Aruna, the Lok Sabha representative for Mahabubnagar, was away. Her daughter discovered the house in disarray, with the iron grills from the kitchen window missing.
Upon receiving a complaint from the MP's driver, law enforcement registered a case and initiated an investigation.
Aruna, who also serves as the national vice-president of the BJP, expressed her profound concern for her family's safety, stating, "Even in a high-security zone near the CM, this breach poses significant worries. The fact that the intruder remained inside for such a long time without stealing anything leaves me apprehensive about their intentions. I have lodged a police complaint and requested the CM and Intelligence IG to bolster security. This incident necessitates a comprehensive investigation and prompt measures to ensure safety," she shared on 'X'.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy took the matter seriously, communicating with the MP and promising enhanced security measures.
Hyderabad Police Commissioner C. V. Anand visited Aruna's residence on Monday, conducting a detailed inspection of the three-story building and its rear side, where the masked man had entered through the kitchen grill.
