Bail Granted to Six Individuals Involved in Attack on Allu Arjun's Residence

Hyderabad, Dec 23 (NationPress) A city court has granted bail to six individuals who were apprehended for attacking the home of actor Allu Arjun in relation to the Sandhya Theatre stampede controversy. This decision was made on Monday.
Members of the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (JAC), who were detained by police on Sunday, were presented before a judge at his residence early Monday morning. The judge instructed each defendant to secure two sureties of Rs 10,000 each.
The Jubilee Hills police detained the accused while they were protesting outside the actor's residence, subsequently bringing them before a magistrate at his home in Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad.
On Sunday evening, members of the OU-JAC forcefully entered Allu Arjun's residence in Jubilee Hills, chanting slogans demanding justice, and caused damage to the property. Their protest was aimed at urging the actor to provide Rs 1 crore in compensation to the family of a woman who tragically lost her life during a stampede at the Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'.
According to police reports, a group of individuals holding placards suddenly approached Allu Arjun's home in Jubilee Hills, commenced shouting slogans, and one person climbed the compound wall to throw tomatoes.
When the security personnel intervened and asked them to come down, a confrontation ensued. The individuals descended from the wall, assaulted the security staff, and damaged several flower pots along the ramp.
They continued their chanting for a period and interacted with media representatives waiting at the gate.
Upon receiving the information, Jubilee Hills Police arrived on the scene and took six individuals into custody. They all identified themselves as part of the OU-JAC, claiming their intention was to protest against the actor to assist the victim's family.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, S.M. Vijay Kumar, stated, 'A case has been filed against these six individuals and others involved in the incident, and strict action will be taken according to the law against all of them.'
The police officer emphasized that such unlawful behavior will not be accepted and that severe legal repercussions will be enforced against anyone attempting to take the law into their own hands.
