Allu Arjun Appears at Police Station Regarding Theatre Stampede Incident

Hyderabad, Jan 5 (NationPress) Tollywood actor Allu Arjun visited the Chikkadpally Police Station on Sunday, fulfilling a requirement set by a city court that recently issued him regular bail in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case.
The actor was at the police station for approximately 10 minutes to finalize the necessary formalities.
On Friday, the Nampally Criminal Court had granted regular bail to the actor, who was previously on a four-week interim bail provided by the Telangana High Court.
The Nampally Court instructed Allu Arjun to furnish two sureties worth Rs 50,000 each. Additionally, the court required him to assist with the investigation and report to the Chikkadpally Police Station every Sunday, while also ensuring that he does not influence any witnesses.
While the police contested the actor's bail request, his legal representatives argued that he should not be held responsible for the incident.
A tragic incident occurred when a woman lost her life and her son sustained severe injuries during a stampede at the Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' on December 4.
The police have charged the theatre management, Allu Arjun, and his team with culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
Allu Arjun was apprehended on December 13 in connection with the case and was subsequently presented before the Nampally court, which ordered him to 14 days of judicial custody.
His legal team appealed to the High Court, which granted him interim bail on the same day.
Upon receiving interim bail for four weeks on December 13, the High Court instructed Allu Arjun to seek regular bail from the trial court.
As the accused number 11 in the case, he was released from Chanchalguda Jail the following day.
With the 14-day judicial remand concluding on December 27, the actor was required to appear before the court for ongoing proceedings. After receiving court approval, he participated via video conference.
In connection with the investigation into the stampede, police interrogated Allu Arjun on December 24, where he was questioned for three hours at Chikkadpally Police Station based on a 10-minute video compiled from CCTV footage of the incident.
