Allu Arjun Interrogated by Police in Theatre Stampede Incident

Hyderabad, Dec 24 (NationPress) - On Tuesday, Tollywood actor Allu Arjun presented himself at the police station for questioning concerning the stampede at Sandhya Theatre.
Under strict security measures, the national award-winning actor arrived at Chikkadpally Police Station around 11 a.m.
The police had issued a notice to the actor the previous day, instructing him to appear for further inquiries.
Authorities heightened security at the police facility and restricted vehicle movement.
Allu Arjun's father, Allu Arvind, along with his legal representatives, also visited the police station.
The actor's legal team was present at his home until late on Monday night.
A tragic incident occurred on December 4 during the premiere of 'Puspha 2: The Rule', resulting in the death of a woman and severe injuries to her son due to the stampede.
The management of the theatre, alongside Allu Arjun and his team, is facing charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
Allu Arjun, identified as accused number 11 by the police, was arrested on December 13 and taken to a city court, where he was placed in judicial custody for 14 days. However, the Telangana High Court granted him interim bail for four weeks on the same day.
He was subsequently released from Chanchalguda Jail the following day.
The recent notice to Allu Arjun follows reports that the police intend to petition the High Court to revoke his interim bail.
Hyderabad Police Commissioner C. V. Anand stated on Sunday that the police would determine the next steps in the case after consulting with legal advisors.
Furthermore, the police chief released detailed CCTV footage of the Sandhya Theatre incident to challenge Allu Arjun's assertions.
A comprehensive 10-minute video was compiled to accurately depict the events of December 4, based on the analysis of 1,000 video clips.
Allu Arjun is likely to face questioning regarding the video evidence and his statements made following his release from custody and on December 21.
During an address in the Assembly on December 21, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy criticized Allu Arjun for visiting the theatre without police authorization and conducting a 'roadshow' after the tragic stampede resulted in a fatality and serious injuries to a child.
Shortly after, Allu Arjun held a press conference, categorically denying the allegations and expressing his distress over what he termed character assassination.
In response, the police released CCTV footage to refute the actor's claims.
