Srinagar, June 10 (NationPress) In a significant restructuring of the civil administration at the mid-level, the government of Jammu and Kashmir has announced the transfers and postings of 134 officers from the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS).

A directive from the General Administration Department has moved Bashir Ahmad Dar, currently the Managing Director of the Jammu and Kashmir Project Construction Corporation (JKPCC), to the position of Secretary of the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission, filling an available vacancy.

Rajinder Singh Tara, who was the Director General of Youth Services and Sports, is now assigned as the Jammu and Kashmir Legal Metrology Controller.

Smita Sethi, the Secretary in the Industries and Commerce Department, will now serve as the Commissioner of the Jammu and Kashmir Food and Drug Administration.
