Jammu, April 2 (NationPress) In a significant development, Jammu and Kashmir's Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, announced a substantial reshuffle within the police hierarchy, affecting the positions at the IG, DIG, and SSP levels.
An official communiqué from the J&K Home Department revealed that the current DIG of the Rajouri-Poonch Range, Tejinder Singh (IPS, 2008), has been appointed as the new IGP CID. Meanwhile, Sarah Rizvi (IPS, 2008), the DIG of Udhampur-Reasi Range, is set to take over as IGP Crime, relieving Sujit Kumar of his additional responsibilities.
