Jammu, April 2 (NationPress) In a significant development, Jammu and Kashmir's Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, announced a substantial reshuffle within the police hierarchy, affecting the positions at the IG, DIG, and SSP levels.

An official communiqué from the J&K Home Department revealed that the current DIG of the Rajouri-Poonch Range, Tejinder Singh (IPS, 2008), has been appointed as the new IGP CID. Meanwhile, Sarah Rizvi (IPS, 2008), the DIG of Udhampur-Reasi Range, is set to take over as IGP Crime, relieving Sujit Kumar of his additional responsibilities. They will be succeeded by Sandeep Wazir (IPS, 2012), currently serving as AIG, Personnel, PHQ, and Shiv Kumar Sharma (IPS, 2011), who is presently the DIG of Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range.

In addition, Shridhar Patil Daulu (IPS, 2010), the DIG for Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban, will now serve as the DIG for Jammu-Samba-Kathua, with Sargun (IPS, 2012) from IR-15 Bn stepping in to replace him.
