Kolkata, May 15 (NationPress) John Barla, a prominent figure in the BJP and a former Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs, officially joined the Trinamool Congress on Thursday.
Barla, who served the Alipurduar constituency from 2019 until 2024, began to drift away from the BJP after he was denied a ticket for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
