Hyderabad, Feb 17 (NationPress) Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC K. Kavitha has voiced her frustration regarding the Congress and BJP, accusing them of plotting to distract the public from critical matters such as the caste survey and the expansion of reservations for Backward Classes (BCs).

She claimed that both national parties have collaboratively initiated a facade of political theatrics.

Kavitha remarked that the leadership of these two parties is neglecting the concerns of BCs and instead engaging in a futile exchange of political jabs, questioning the caste and religion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

While addressing the media in Yerravalli of Siddipet district, MLC Kavitha noted that Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has sparked a debate regarding whether PM Modi qualifies as a BC to steer the conversation away from BC-related topics in Telangana. Simultaneously, Union Minister Bandi Sanjay is questioning the religion of Rahul Gandhi.

"Does it really matter if PM Modi is a BC? Why are people fixated on Rahul Gandhi's religion? The Congress should propose a bill in the Assembly to enhance reservations, and the BJP should support it on a national level. Instead of engaging in meaningful discussions, they prefer political banter," she asserted.

Emphasizing that Telangana has witnessed numerous political plots in the past, MLC Kavitha affirmed that the schemes of these two parties will not succeed in the state.

She criticized the Congress government for the hardships it inflicted on the populace during its 14-month governance.

In another note, Kavitha celebrated her father and BRS President K. Chandrasekhar Rao's 71st birthday.

She visited the former Chief Minister, affectionately known as KCR, to receive his blessings.

Earlier, Kavitha performed rituals at a temple close to her home in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

She prayed for KCR's health and longevity.
