Bhubaneswar, Feb 25 (NationPress) The Governor of Odisha, Hari Babu Kambhampati, immersed himself in the holy waters of Triveni Sangam while participating in the Maha Kumbh festivities in Prayagraj on Tuesday.
Describing the experience as divine, he emphasized that the ritual embodies faith, tradition, and spirituality, fostering a sense of community among participants.
The Governor extended his appreciation to the Uttar Pradesh government for its careful organization, which facilitated a seamless experience for countless pilgrims.
Kambhampati commended the well-structured arrangements that enabled individuals from diverse backgrounds to join in this magnificent religious event.

CM Majhi referred to the Mahakumbh as a representation of India's cultural essence.
“As millions of devotees from within the country and abroad converge here with profound faith, the atmosphere embodies India's vibrant cultural legacy and spiritual essence. The spirit of devotion, discipline, and unity observed during this grand assembly is genuinely motivating,” expressed Chief Minister Majhi.
CM Majhi also communicated with the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh by phone, expressing gratitude for the exceptional arrangements made for the Mahakumbh.
He also thanked Satish Sharma, the UP Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, who welcomed him at Prayagraj airport and accompanied him throughout his visit, as he partook in the holy dip along with rituals including puja and Aarti at the Sangam.
