Kishanganj (Bihar), Sep 7 (NationPress) - The founder of the Jan Suraaj Party, Prashant Kishor, has made serious allegations against the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the leaders of the Mahagathbandhan. He accused them of manipulating the fears surrounding the BJP to attract votes from the Muslim community.
During a speech at the ‘Bihar Badlav Ijlas’ held at the Anjuman Islamia Ground in Kishanganj on Sunday, Kishor stated, “These individuals have only used the fear of the BJP to gain Muslim votes. If they had genuine concern for Muslims, why haven't they provided education and employment opportunities for Muslim children over the last three decades? How many educational institutions have been established in Kishanganj?”
While addressing the press, he forecasted a disappointing outcome for the JD(U) in the forthcoming Bihar Assembly elections, asserting, “This time, the JD(U) will struggle to secure even 25 seats. Just as I predicted that the BJP would not surpass 100 seats in West Bengal, I am making a similar claim now.”
Kishor indicated that more than 1.25 crore individuals have joined the Jan Suraaj Yatra, with a significant number from the Muslim demographic.
“Muslims have been instrumental in the success of Jan Suraaj. They have been the driving force keeping the RJD's ‘lantern’ illuminated — but soon, that light will diminish,” he remarked, referring to the RJD's election symbol.
Encouraging the Muslim community to move beyond fear, he urged, “Fear no one but Allah.”
Further criticizing the BJP, he noted that the party receives votes from only about 40% of the Hindu population.
“Half of the Hindu populace continues to adhere to the principles of Gandhi, Ambedkar, Lohia, socialism, and communism. They will never back the BJP. If these Hindus unite with the 20% of the Muslim population, that coalition can challenge the BJP,” the Jan Suraaj Party leader asserted.
