Amaravati, Jan 17 (NationPress) Andhra Pradesh’s Minister for Education, Information Technology (IT) and Electronics, Nara Lokesh, is set to make a compelling case for increased investments in the state at the upcoming World Economic Forum summit in Davos next week.

Lokesh, who also chairs the Investments Task Force Committee, will be attending the summit from January 20 to 24 as part of the delegation led by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

Throughout the five-day event, Lokesh will engage in discussions with ambassadors from more than 50 countries, as well as industrial leaders and prominent business figures. Notably, the IT and Electronics Minister will conduct a direct meeting at the Andhra Pradesh Pavilion with over 30 globally recognized industrialists to explore investment opportunities in various sectors, as stated in an official announcement.

Utilizing the World Economic Forum as a platform, Lokesh will participate in discussions with governors from academic sectors to address significant transformations in global education. He will also confer with experts on creating an ecosystem for intelligent industries, the influence of Artificial Intelligence in today's world, and promoting gender equality.

Additionally, Lokesh is scheduled to join a round-table discussion with representatives from Google and Nvidia to explore next-gen AI, data factories, and the establishment of an AI university.

Industry Minister T. G. Bharath and other officials will accompany the delegation, aiming to highlight the strengths and investment prospects of the state.

The Chief Minister has received an invitation to the WEF annual meeting, themed 'Shaping the Intelligent Age.' Chandrababu Naidu has previously attended WEF meetings in Davos during his past terms as Chief Minister. This visit marks his first since taking office in June last year, while Lokesh will be attending the WEF annual meeting for the first time.
