Bengaluru, May 1 (NationPress) A devastating event unfolded in Adakamarahalli, located near Nelamangala in Bengaluru North Taluk, where a fire erupted due to a leak from an LPG cylinder on Thursday, resulting in the tragic deaths of two individuals and leaving four others in critical condition.
The victims have been identified as Nagaraju, aged 50, and Srinivas, also 50. Those injured, including Abhisheik Gouda, Shivashankar, Laxmidevi, and Basana Gouda, were promptly taken to a medical facility for urgent care.
The Madanayakanahalli Police are currently conducting an investigation. Initial findings indicate that the fire was ignited by an LPG gas leak within the residence.
According to law enforcement, Nagaraju, originally from Ballari, was living in a rented accommodation with his wife Laxmidevi and their children, Abhisheik Gouda and Basana Gouda.
While attempting to replace an empty cylinder, Abhisheik allegedly overlooked the gas leak.
A lit lamp placed in front of a deity is suspected to have ignited the escaped gas, causing the rapid spread of the fire throughout the home.
