Bhopal, March 7 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, conducted a review on Friday concerning the government's readiness for the upcoming Budget Session of the state Assembly, which is scheduled to begin on March 10.

During the meeting held at the Chief Minister's official residence, Mohan Yadav stressed the importance of providing fact-based and logical responses to inquiries and motions.

He also provided essential directives regarding unresolved Zero Hour issues, incomplete responses, as well as the assurances and recommendations from the Public Accounts Committee (CAG).

In attendance were Chief Secretary Anurag Jain and other senior officials from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), along with representatives from the Law and Legislative Department.

Avdhesh Pratap Singh, the Principal Secretary of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly, who was specially invited to the meeting, updated Chief Minister Yadav on the preparations for the session.

The Budget Session is slated to last for 15 days, commencing with an address by Governor Mangu Bhai Patel, and it will continue until March 24.

Notably, there will only be 9 sitting days interspersed with 6 days of recess.

The BJP government led by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is expected to introduce up to five significant bills during this session for discussion and approval by the Assembly.

The state government will unveil its first comprehensive budget in the Vidhan Sabha, starting with the Governor's address.

From March 11 to 13, the Assembly will convene for discussions on the bills.

House proceedings will be adjourned from March 14 to 16.

The Assembly will resume on March 17 and 18. A holiday will be observed on March 19 for Rang Panchami. Proceedings will continue on March 20 and 21, followed by another recess on March 22 and 23. The final day for the Assembly proceedings will be March 24.
