Deputy Chief Ministers Rajendra Shukla and Jagdish Devda, along with other BJP members, will take part in the debate.
Key discussion points include the state’s declaration as Naxal-free on December 11, urban development, education, health, women’s empowerment, industrial policy, tourism, culture, heritage, agriculture, cooperation, animal husbandry, and internal security.
On the other hand, Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar, who also marked two years in his position on Tuesday, has coordinated with Congress members to challenge the government’s claims.
“The BJP government will highlight its achievements, but Congress is prepared to unveil the reality. This session ought to serve as a platform for accountability to the public,” Singhar shared on X after a late-night meeting.
The special session follows just 12 days after the conclusion of the five-day Winter Session on December 5, during which the House approved a second supplementary budget of Rs 13,156 crore after vigorous discussions.
