He emphasized that ensuring farmers receive equitable prices for their yields is a core commitment.
The government aspires to serve the public effectively, and with this goal, exceptional arrangements have been organized for wheat procurement at the designated centres.
As part of the 'Farmer Welfare Year' (Krishi Kalyan Varsh) 2026, farmers visiting procurement centres will also be informed about various government welfare initiatives via pamphlets, hoardings, and direct outreach.
Instructions have been issued to create a farmer-friendly and transparent process.
The state government is placing a strong emphasis on small and marginal farmers and has instructed officials to ensure a hassle-free procurement experience, prioritizing registered farmers.
