CM Mohan Yadav Launches Third Edition of MP Tourism’s ‘Queens on the Wheels’

Bhopal, March 6 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, is set to launch the third edition of ‘Queens on the Wheels’, a groundbreaking initiative by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board. This event will see 25 women superbikers traversing the country and beyond to enhance the visibility of the state’s tourism attractions.
Dr. Ilaiyaraja T, the Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, shared insights about this initiative on Friday. Following the success of the first two editions, this seven-day event, which champions women’s empowerment, freedom, and heritage, will cover an impressive bike trail of approximately 1,400 km from Bhopal to Khajuraho.
According to him, the initiative is more than just a bike ride; it is a tribute to women’s empowerment, bravery, and the rich cultural and tourism heritage of Madhya Pradesh.
“The journey will allow 25 women superbikers from around the nation to explore various tourist attractions within the state and promote these at both national and international levels,” he noted.
The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board aims to position the state as a safe, thrilling, and world-class tourism destination through such innovative endeavors.
This week-long journey, commencing from Bhopal, will pass through notable locations such as Sanchi, Udayagiri, Chanderi, Shivpuri, Kuno, Gwalior, Datia, Orchha, and ultimately return to Bhopal on March 13.
The initiative will showcase the state’s rich historical and archaeological significance while reinforcing Madhya Pradesh as a secure and vibrant tourism hub for women.
“Additionally, this campaign will bring attention to lesser-known destinations, strengthen rural tourism circuits, and promote responsible travel throughout the state,” he added.
Later on Saturday, during his visit to the Vidisha district, Chief Minister Yadav will officially open several completed projects and lay the foundation for new developments worth ₹163.62 crore. He will also inaugurate the state’s first district-level fingerprint laboratory and provide benefits to qualified beneficiaries under various government schemes.
