Madhya Pradesh's Sixth Regional Industry Conclave Kicks Off in Narmadapuram

Bhopal, Dec 7 (NationPress) The sixth Regional Industry Conclave (RIC), a significant initiative to attract investment in Madhya Pradesh, officially commenced in Narmadapuram on Saturday.

The event was inaugurated by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, along with State Cabinet Minister Rakesh Singh and State Chief Secretary Anurag Jain.

During the event, Chief Minister Yadav conducted the 'bhoomi pujan' for upcoming development projects in the Narmadapuram division, which includes the Betul and Harda districts.

The Chief Minister performed the 'bhoomi pujan' for new units focused on the electrical and renewable energy equipment manufacturing sector in Mohasa-Babai, located in the Narmadapuram district, and conveyed his best wishes to various companies by issuing them land allotment letters, as reported by the MP CMO on social media platform X.

As per the state government, over 4,000 prominent industrialists have gathered for the conclave, including 3,000 representatives from Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and 75 leading investors.

Delegations from international industrialists representing countries such as Canada, Vietnam, The Netherlands, Mexico, and Malaysia have also arrived to take part in the conclave.

The sessions will cover discussions on the state’s industrial policy, investment incentives, and the outlook for MSMEs.

Chief Minister Yadav will engage in individual meetings with investors to discuss their plans.

Subsequently, a round table session will concentrate on the renewable energy sector.

Sectoral sessions will address topics such as 'How to start exporting' and 'Investment prospects in tourism'.

Narmadapuram, recognized for its religious, natural, and cultural heritage, is also emerging as a new industrial hub.

Under the theme 'New Horizons, New Possibilities', the program emphasizes sectors including agriculture, dairy, food processing, renewable energy, tourism, and textiles.

Notable attendees included Rajya Sabha MP Maya Narolia, MP Darshan Singh Chaudhary, and other distinguished guests.

Past Regional Industry Conclaves (RIC) have been hosted in Jabalpur, Gwalior, Sagar, Ujjain, Indore, and Rewa.

The state government has already received investment proposals exceeding Rs 75,000 crore from these five conclaves.
